Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever. – Psalm 118:1
We all have testimonies of how God has changed our lives, delivered us from burdens, and walked with us through our trials. We believe there is no better way to encourage our sisters, and provide hope then sharing our answered prayers, and all that God has done. Join us in celebrating all that God has done, and all that he is going to do in the future.
God is good, all the time!
All the time, God is good!
Yesterday, as I watched the women of our climbing group laughing, forming bonds, and enjoying their day of climbing, I reflected on how blessed I was to be a part of what God was doing in their lives. We have ages ranging from 15 – 60, all from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. While there are many differences, the bonds of friendship are forming over our similarities, and their love of climbing. Climbing is allowing all of us to concur our fears, learn more about ourselves, and draw closer to Christ.
What is so cool is that God is ministering to each of us in unique ways, and teaching profound lessons through climbing. Whether it is to trust Him more, to follow His path, or to rely on His strength, God had reached each of us individually, through one group activity. How cool is that! God is so good!
I could not have asked for a better event! We made some great connections, planted some seeds, and lots of fun. The women who baked the bacon, and showed up to help were such a blessing. I could not have gotten through the day without them. One cool thing this year was that most of the group stuck together after the event and climbed. Normally everyone goes their separate ways once the breakfast is over, and it is time for climbing. That was so much fun. The event could not have gone better. God is so good!!
Standing on this mountaintop
Looking just how far we’ve come
Knowing that for every step
You were with us
Kneeling on this battle ground
Seeing just how much You’ve done
Knowing every victory
Is Your power in us
Scars and struggles on the way
But with joy our hearts can say
Yes, our hearts can say
Never once did we ever walk alone
Never once did You leave us on our own
You are faithful, God, You are faithful
