Megan grew up on a farm in the middle of Illinois, moved to Missouri straight out of college where she lived for almost 5 years, and then moved to beautiful Prescott, AZ three years ago. Not very long after moving to the mountains she learned and fell in love with rock climbing. In fact, some of her climbing buddies make fun of her that she bought all the gear after her first time climbing. It wasn’t all of it, just most of it.
Although rock climbing is close to her favorite outdoor activity she also enjoy other activities Arizona has to offer. Mountain biking, hiking, camping, and kayaking just begin to scratch the surface. She loves exploring new, places, especially with kids in tow.
When she’s not doing things outside she is involved in hosting a community Bible study group, cooking, hanging out with friends, reading, doing projects around the house, and helping the foster families in her world any way she can. She is currently in the process of getting licensed in foster care to be able to offer respite care to give foster families a break as well as do emergency placements.
