Rock Climbing in the Black Hills

During the summer, the Bethel Church Women’s Rock Climbing group meets every Tuesday at the Wrinkled Rock Trailhead parking lot. From Wrinkled Rock, we have easy access to some of the best climbing in the Mount Rushmore area.

Both South Seas and Chopping Block offer a wide variety of climbing levels. Our group rotates between a few areas that offer top rope and lead options that can handle a large group with varying skill levels. We try to pick locations that offer climbing grades ranging between 5.6 and 5.10+.
